We are heading to Williamsburg this summer and planning a day at Virginia Beach. We are looking for a good seafood resturant to eat at. Any suggestions??
Virginia Beach
hi... You might want to try the Virginia.. ';williamsburg'; forum..
for suggestions...
Virginia Beach
Try the Lynnhaven Fish House on the Chesapeake Bay; try Mahi Mah%26#39;s at the Ramada on 6th Street and Atlantic Avenue; try Rudee%26#39;s or Rockafeller%26#39;s on the inlet off Mediterranean Avenue. All good seafood.
you will want to post this on the Virginia Beach forum for better results
You might want to post in the VA Beach forum.
However, I have been to VA Beach. And I love Seafood. I personally don%26#39;t mind buffets so I always go to Captain George%26#39;s Seafood Buffet on Lasking road. It%26#39;s much better than the one in MB and they have the biggest crab legs. If you are looking for something more fancy can%26#39;t help you there. We have 3 children and they don%26#39;t like places that are quiet and quaint.
Correction on the street it%26#39;s LASKIN road.
Restaurant Directions:
Hop on Interstate 95, drive south for about 5 hours, turn onto highway 501 south for 1 hour to Myrtle Beach. Turn north or south on highway 17 and take your pick from 100%26#39;s of seafood restaurants!
Or, forgive my smart-aleck answer and re-post your question on the Virginia Beach website.
Thanks to you all. Even you ';WVPark Fan'; with your Redneck answer. Don%26#39;t I know you, I think you live down the road from us. I%26#39;m new to this so forgive my loss of direction on this sight.
good answer Fergie! Sometimes people forget to give others the benefit of the doubt. BTW, I live in Chesapeake, Va and I really like Croakers on Shore Dr. in Va Beach. Great crabcakes!!!
Steinhiblers for finer dining and any of the SurfRider restaurants for casual. Both fantastic seafood... the best in the area. The Lynhaven Fishouse isn%26#39;t bad either and sits on the bay.
Hi Fergie63
Hot Tuna on Shore Drive is really good. Check out their website at www.hottunavb.com.
If you want a good buffet I would pay the extra money to go to Captain George%26#39;s on Laskin Road. Check out their website at www.captaingeorges.com. It runs about $25 per person but is worth it. I have tried several other buffets closer to the beach and have been disappointed. The Norfolk Special at Captain George%26#39;s is very good! If you go, be sure to try it. They used to have a seafood casserole that was really good too although I didn%26#39;t see that the last time I was there.
