located downtown at 208 richland ave don%26#39;t let the nicely appointed downtwon surroundings fool you. the exterior is nicely appointed in a nice neighborhood. while clean the interior is your typical pool room with a snack bar located in the front. the cover of the menu in bold letters proclaims THE BEST CHEESEBURGER YOU WILL EVER EAT. the chili dog is awesome, the recipe for the chili is 54 years oldsand should anyone ever dare mess with it they ought be shot. magnificent home made potato chips, an awesome philly cheese steak and then there are those cheeseburgers. what carl did for greenskeeping in the movie caddyshack this place does for cheeseburgers, an ample fresh patty cooked in front of your eyes on a griddle is so fine as i have to agree with their menu. if there is one better i know for a fact it costs more than city billiards price of $3.40. add bacon and look for the pearly gates, add a chili dog and st peter himself will deliver it to you there on the lunch counter. if the truth be told there are so many cheseburgers out there it is mighty difficuly to call this one the best. it%26#39;s the best one i ever had with a $2.00 beer served in a pool hall with 6 pool tables in the rear. not one was in use and there was hardly a place a sit during lunch today. go!!! you%26#39;ll be richly rewarded and glad you did.

You just can%26#39;t beat a chile dog from City Billiards. As a former Aiknite, I grew up on them. They were so good that I never tried the cheeseburger.

i am returning for a visit soon an if i can convince myself to over indulge either/or skip breakfast i will have to give the cheeseburgers a try, they looked magnificent and well worthy of the moniker.

it%26#39;s true. just what the menu said. that was the best cheeseburger i ever ate. bar nunn. while my mind was crying out for chili dogs, i had promised myself on this visit to try the burger, and i was not disappointed. how will i ever decide next visit.? both are so marvelous! the cheeseburger i had today was plump, juicy, large on the bun but not overly so, just perfect. large enough not to dare try to eat two, but not too hefty to call a rescue squad either. i had been well pleased with the chili dogs but these abundant cheese burgers are raising my estimations of this joint to legendary status.excellent beef, fresh toppings, and incredible first rate service. WELL DONE CITY BILLIARDS!

for all those out of town master%26#39;s fans having to stay in the beautiful city of aiken be sure to take advantage of the excellent lunch available here. it really is that special.
